Ink and colour on paper, mounted, unframed. Signed Zhou Shixin, dedicated to [Pei] Yen-Chiu, dated jiachen jiaping month (1965) with two artist’s seals.
Mr. Yen-Chiu Pei (1903-1980) was a businessman and banker associated with the China and South Sea bank, and one of the co-chairmen of Hong Kong's Smart-Shirt company. He maintained a lifelong interest in collecting Chinese antiques and paintings.

上款人裴延九先生是香港知名实业家、银行家，曾任中南银行上海分行总经理，也为香港Smart-Shirt公司联合主席之一。其毕生热衷于中国古董与书画的收藏，所聚雅藏颇具规模。裴氏与汇丰银行相熟，故宫收购三希堂王献之的墨宝，即是通过裴先生与汇丰大班取得联系。
周士心1949年移居香港，1971年移居美國，1980年定居加拿大，为温哥华华人艺术家协会创会会长，曾任教于众多著名院校。本作为其居香港期间与裴延九先生往来所赠，无论尺幅用笔，皆为其青绿山水难得佳作。
