This coat was originally given by HBC to Allen Chan, of the Designer Guys TV Show, when HBC sponsored an episode in which the hosts overhauled the Pierre Berton Writers' Retreat in Dawson City, Yukon. Chan wore the coat during filming of the episode. The coat was then auctioned at the Pierre Berton Writers' Retreat Gala Fundraising Dinner, and was purchased by HBC, and signed by all 3 Designer Guys: Allen Chan, Matt Davis, and Anwar Mekhayech. Size small.

The Buyer’s Premium is the amount paid by the Buyer to the Auction House on the purchase of a lot, which is calculated on the Hammer Price as follows: a rate of 25% of the Hammer Price of the Lot up to and including $25,000; plus 20% on the part of the Hammer Price over $25,000, plus applicable Sales Tax.
