In this print, we are looking south towards St. Brendans and Pitt Sound Head. In this view can be seen Granda Glover’s house, store and stage. Uncle Eg Glover’s house is to the east and on the left is Uncle “one eye Leo” Glover’s house. On the extreme right is his brother Uncle Lewis Glover’s house. In the upper left middle ground is Aunt Mag Feltham’s house. On the horizon to the left of Granda Glover’s house is Deer Island, to the right is Greens Island and further right are the Gooseberry Islands. The small figure on the stage is watching seabird hunters depart.

The windcharger on Glover’s Hill was short lived. It charged a battery which provided energy for one or two lightbulbs in Glover’s General Store.

Please note: this work is unframed.
