Clara Wong

After graduating from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Anthropology, Clara joined the Heffel team in 2013. During her undergraduate degree, she took courses in Contemporary and First Nations art, as well as courses in museum practice. Her experience with UBC’s Arts Co-op Program allowed her to work in a variety of private and non-profit organizations. In 2012 Clara was the inaugural recipient of the Patsy and David Heffel Award in Art History at UBC.

Clara has experience working in museum and gallery settings. She completed work terms at the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies and the Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery. Prior to her employment at Heffel, Clara worked as a History Research Assistant at UBC and completed an administrative internship at the Rennie Collection at Wing Sang.

Clara is fluent in English and Cantonese.
