Notes on Material
Comments on Condition
There is stable craquelure present throughout the work, most concentrated in areas of black and brown paint, as well as in the impastoed area to the right of the upper central window. Areas of flaking paint can be seen in the lit ground below the bottom left window, along the trunk of the rightmost tree, and in the area of black in the upper right. Il y a une craquelure stable présente tout au long de l'œuvre, la plus concentrée dans les zones de peinture noire et brune, ainsi que dans la zone empâtée à droite de la fenêtre centrale supérieure. Des zones de peinture écaillée peuvent être vues dans le sol éclairé sous la fenêtre en bas à gauche, le long du tronc de l'arbre le plus à droite et dans la zone noire en haut à droite.
