On verso the inscription reads: "The pole at left belonged to Chief of Wolf Clan "Wee ha". This pole was salvaged in 1958 and is now at U.B.C., a copy stands in Thunderbird Park, Victoria, B.C. Small figures represent people fishing through holes in the ice. Ancestors Willadaugh. Poles as they stood in village of Kitwancool, on upper Skeena River in 1910."
