Matthew Messner, "Iconic Chicago architecture mural will be covered by new tower," The Architect's Newspaper, July 18, 2016, https://archpaper.com/2016/07/homage-to-the-chicago-school-of-architecture-mural/, accessed September 26, 2019
This work shows details of the trompe l'oeil mural created by Richard Haas for the building at 1211 North LaSalle Street in Chicago. The mural was dedicated to the Chicago School, and depicts many of the signature elements of this once popular architectural style. The east and west sides of this building have since been hidden by other developments.
This work was produced by the Department of Architecture of the Art Institute of Chicago.
