Charles Pachter, interviewed by Heffel, May 2022
Moosamour, which translates from the French as “Moose love,” is seen in silhouette – regal and bold – drawing attention to its existence as a potent symbol of the Canadian psyche. Charles Pachter’s moose sculptures are recognized across Canada, with sculptures from this series installed in Victoria, Edmonton, Toronto and Montreal. This work is one of four that Pachter produced in this size.
